September 2006 saw a return to Poitiers, in an extended trip to Les Forges complex, where around 18 members again enjoyed great weather, and a route march to breakfast every morning from their villas! The ladies in this sleepy ex-patriot stronghold were much enlivened by the sight of our President sleeping outside on the patio in his boxers, supposedly to escape the snoring from other unnamed members! The photographs also reveal a great and rare skill of another member being able to fall asleep on the toilet in the middle of ablutions!

Despite these activities, the golf was again keenly fought, with Lance Tomlyn emerging triumphant to take the Triple S trophy. Chris Charlesworth also deserves a special mention to rise from the 2006 golfing dead to record a great score.
