Dallington Golf Society

This year's tour took us to Puerto Banus  on the Costa del Sol,  home to billionaires, big boats, and of course plenty of watering holes, including the famous Sinatra's bar... and other entertainments which are best not mentioned here. And a good time was had by all! 
This time the tour was extended to an extra day which allowed us to play three excellent, but very challenging courses, in the absolutely beautiful weather that we were blessed with :

  • Los Arqueros (very demanding)
  • La Quinta (challenging but the fairest of the three)
  • Monte Mayor (bloody impossible!!)
The main competition, the ex/ future Captain's trophy, was held on the last day at Monte Mayor and was won by non other than the 2009 Captain, Phil Bonham with 32 points. Somehow he managed to navigate all the ravines, the long carries, the pencil thin fairways, and the wilderness, and return a half decent score.
