RESULTS

On  a perfect early summer's day on a great golf course in excellent condition the steady play of Bernard Darby won the day. Bernard used all his patience and experience to navigate this testing track to score a very commendable 35 points, beating off the challenge of in form, Tony Farrow on 34 points. Not far behind with 33 points was Steve Ferguson whose challenge melted away on the back nine after scoring 20 points on the front.
Also worthy of mention is big hitter Captain Alan who got an eagle at the very long par five eighteenth (544 yards), as well as winning the longest drive
and cleaning up on the two's club - £66 with the rollover.
Harry H was disappointed because after working hard to to get Mr Blobby, Mr Blobby had a flat and didn't roll up.
